Erik's Furniture will commemorate 50 years in business during a week-long celebration from Friday March 19 through Saturday, March 27, 2010. The home furnishings extravaganza will feature several receptions open to the public and a drawing for a $2,010 shopping spree all to thank the community for their past half-century of support.

BOZEMAN – The president of Montana Furniture Industries says the company is going out of business, the victim of the downturn in the economy. Greg Metzger says more than 70 people will lose their jobs in the coming weeks as he closes his wood furniture factory near Bozeman and five Montana Furniture Galleries stores.
