AN early-morning fire yesterday destroyed the Marshall Furniture Store on Mark Lane, downtown Kingston, resulting in millions of dollars in losses and leaving more than 40 persons without jobs.

The group The Green Project hopes a gala and fundraiser will help sell people on the recycling message. Organizers of the event hope, if you don't buy any furniture, at least you'll buy the message.
