Independence police continue to investigate the circumstances surrounding an injured man found Monday morning at an East Truman Road used furniture store. The man was taken to an area hospital, where he was in critical condition, police said.

An analyst raised his ratings on three office furniture companies Tuesday, citing improving industry demand.
